Ways to Re-Engage With Your Audience
If you’re feeling a bit like your network, social media following or clients aren’t as engaged as they were more than a year ago, you’re not alone. We’re hearing this from many of our clients. As you get back from vacations and plan the rest of the year, it’s time to start reaching out. How do you re-engage your audience and clients? We’ve got five ideas for you.
Social Media
Is your social media feeling stale? If you’re looking to breathe new life into your online presence, we recommend going live on video to engage with your following. Let them know what you’ve been doing through the pandemic or where your business is heading in the coming months. Tag other businesses on social media so they know you’re available to work with them or serve their clients. Lastly, ask your following questions. People love to share! Engagement is key!
Personal Touch
Are you feeling like your clients are not as interested as they used to be? Reach out with a personal touch like a phone call, text, email, Facebook message, or thank you gift. Touching base can go a long way. You may find that people just got too busy to keep in touch. Now, more than ever, people are craving that personal attention.
Schedule Meetings
Sounds silly but I know tons of business owners who are excited to meet people in person for coffee just to catch up. We need each other and 18 months is too long to not see people. So, why not invite power partners and/or clients for a coffee just to see how they’re doing and what they are up to these days. If you’re not ready to meet in-person, or they aren’t, then schedule a virtual coffee meeting. It just helps to see people’s faces and interact one-one with each other.
Ad Spend
Allocate funds from your marketing budget for a paid ad. Boosting a Facebook post can increase engagement and spur more page likes. You can also create an ad for Facebook and Instagram to re-engage your audience and find new potential clients. This sort of boost may just be what you need to bring some attention to your business.
Share Content
Whether you are sending a newsletter, creating a new blog post, or sharing tips on social media, sharing content is one of the best ways to attract attention. The more you share, the more likely it is for people to see your stuff. Create evergreen content, so when you don’t have time to create new stuff you can recycle the old ones.
